22 year old British citizen Luke Rutter, who took the Kurdish nom-de-guerre of Soro Zinar; Nicholas Alan Warden, a 29 year old man from New York known in Rojava as Rodi Deysie, and 28 year old Robert Grodt, an Occupy Wall Street activist from California who was given the Kurdish name Demhat Goldman, have all been martyred while fighting with the YPG in Syria.

This is a tragic loss for humanity.
