ANKARA – “Our agency JINHA, DİHA and Azadiya Welat have been closed down by Statutory Decree.
Cabinet of Ministers has issued two new Statutory Decrees Article 675 and 676. Our Agency JIHA (Women’s News Agency) DİHA (Dicle News Agency) and Azadiya Welat have been closed down in accordance with the new Statutory Decrees.
The AKP government closed the following media outlets; Dicle News Agency (DİHA), Jinha Women’s News (JINHA), Özgür Gündem Daily (İstanbul), Azadiya Welat Newspaper(Diyarbakır), Yüksekova Haber Gazetesi (Yüksekova News Newspaper)(Hakkari), Batman Çağdaş Newspaper (Batman), Cizre Postası Newspaper (Şırnak), İdil Haber Newspaper (Şırnak), Güney Expres Newspaper (Şırnak), Prestij Haber Newspaper (Van), Urfanatik Newspaper(Urfa), Kızıltepe’nin Sesi Gazetesi (Voice of Kızıltepe Newspaper in Mardin), Tîroj Magazine (İstanbul), Evrensel Kültür Magazine (İstanbul), Özgürlük Dünyası Magazine (İstanbul).”
